Making Right Choices In Life

Making Right Choices In Life:

Someone once said "To live is to suffer; and to survive is to find meaning in the suffering."

So many people have gone through inexplicable sufferings and so much pain brought upon them by fate; while others are suffering because of the pains they brought upon themselves as a result of the wrong choices and bad decisions they've made in their lives. Such people are the architect of their own misfortune, and the supplier of the ammunition for their own destruction. They continue to make wrong life choices until it completely ruins their lives.

Most people who made wrong choices that brought them pain and suffering refuse to make any more choices at all because they don't want to make the wrong ones that might bring them more pains and suffering, and because of that they remain stagnant for the rest of their lives; They just sit and remain where they are, and live the rest of their lives in obscurity and misery. But this is even worse because making no choice at all is making a bad choice; and taking no risk at all is taking a bigger risk.

Don't live your life like that my friends. It's true that you can't fall if you don't climb, but then what will your life be worth if you live it on the ground? Tell me.

Most times, the right choices are the hardest, but you just have to make them and do what you gotta do to survive and become somebody in this difficult world. If you do nothing, you become nothing, and end up as nothing. But if you do something, even if you don't become everything you wanted to be, at least you'll become something. That's why they say "Aim for the moon, and even if you miss, you'll land among the stars."

So even if you're suffering right now, but you know you're making the right choices, then that suffering will eventually come to an end, and you'll live the rest of your life as a champion. But if you're continually making bad choices in your life, or refuse to make any choice at all, then your suffering will never end.

I'll leave you with this awesome quote from The Great Mohamed Ali "I wanted to quit so many times, but I said to myself, Mohamed suffer now and live the rest of your life as a champion." And that's exactly what Mohamed did, and I hope you'll do the same and find meaning in your own suffering today as you pay the price for your tomorrow. Remember that you have a great destiny waiting for you. Don't Betray it.

We at IMIGRANT MUSIC INC.® USA wish you all the best, and we pray you'll make the right choices in your life and continue to push yourself until you cross the finish line no matter the pains and sufferings you're going through today. Don't worry, your God will help you, say Amen to that!.

Overcoming Life Challenges

Most people have gone through inexplicable horrible predicaments in life. Some have suffered so much that they begin to question "Is there really God?" "If there's God, then why I'm I suffering like this? Why are good people dying and bad people enjoying life? Why are believers in God wallowing in poverty, while unbelievers are enjoying wealth? Why are children born disabled, or dying young? Why why why?

We may never know the answers to all the whys in this world, but one thing I know for sure is that whether you believe in God or not, there's a superior being that gives us hope in hopeless situations. A superior being that gives us power to carry on when we feel like giving up. That thing that gives us faith to believe that we will somehow in someway come out of the most desperate and hardest times in our lives.

So all you have to do during hard times is to hold on to that faith and hope inside of you and never give it up. Because it is that hope that will stop you from committing suicide when you feel like your life is worthless and you can't live any longer. It is that hope that will make you try one more time even in seemingly hopeless situations. It is that faith that will keep you alive and expectant until something happens to turn your life around. But once you lose that hope and faith, you lose everything.

So this article is to encourage you NEVER to give up no matter how dire your condition is and no matter what you're going through right now. Remember that so many people have gone through worst experiences in life but some still survived and later became successful and happy. So don't give up and you'll eventually become successful and be counted among the survivors.

It's NEVER the end until it's the end. Good Luck.

We at IMIGRANT MUSIC INC.® USA wish you all the best, and we pray you'll find the strength you need to overcome your life challenges.

The Difference Between Happiness and Sadness; Peace and Worry; Success and Failure

Happiness or Sadness; Peace or Worry; Success or Failure; You have the power to choose, and the power is in your mind.

If you want your life to be filled with happiness, success, and peace of mind, then you must stop giving things negative meanings. The habit of giving things meaning - especially negative meanings - is pervasive in the part of the world where I come from. People see a black cat and they say it means they will have a bad day. When they have a nightmare at night, they wake up from sleep and give it the negative meaning that something bad is about to happen in their lives. When they dream of eating in their sleep, they give it devilish meaning. When they sneeze, they believe someone somewhere is calling their names. No matter what happens to my brothers and sisters in Africa, they attach negative meanings to everything, and that's why negative things abound over there because we attract into our lives what we habitually believe.

What we see depends on what we look for. We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are. Nothing in life has an inherent meaning unless the meaning we give to it. And we give things different meanings based on our different human perceptions,  life experiences, struggles, and core beliefs. We see things through the lenses of our own individual interpretations.

If you must give things meaning, then give them good meaning for your own good. Don't be your own worst enemy and the architect of your own misfortune. Think only positive thoughts and give everything positive meanings; and you will see how your life will begin to turn around positively. When you have a bad dream, don't wake up and start binding and casting out demons in your village that are attacking you. NO ONE IS ATTACKING YOU MY FRIEND. You're attacking yourself by believing that someone is attacking you. Everyone in this world have nightmares from time to time, no one is exempted, and there is a simple logical explanation to most of our dreams at night which is "The graphic representations of our thoughts, words, actions, or reactions while we were awake during the day."

If you see a black cat, don't start rebuking the animal. Its God's creation and its going about its own business. It has nothing to do with you. Groucho Marx wisely remarked "A black cat crossing your path signifies that the animal is simply going somewhere." PERIOD!!!

I've trained myself to always see things from a positive point of view, and I've conditioned myself to give everything in my life positive meanings, and I know that's why I'm always happy no matter what's happening to me, and regardless of the hard times I've gone through and the adversities I've endured in my life. I've been poor and homeless, I've been deceived and betrayed by those I trusted, I've been abandoned by some people I loved, I've had nightmares and unfulfilled dreams, I've missed so many opportunities in my life, and I see so many black cats every day in America, but I've never ever blamed the cats or blamed my enemies or the witches in my village because I know and believe with all my heart that all things works together for good to those that love God.

In life, we all look at the same things but we all see them differently. We all experience heart breaks, pains, and misfortunes, but we all see and handle them differently based on our personal life experiences, our habitual thoughts, and the superstitious beliefs passed down to us from generation to generation. But whatever you choose to think and believe will inevitably determine the outcome of your life.

So the difference between success and failure, happiness and sadness, peace of mind and worry, lies in your beliefs.

Louise Hay said "Your thoughts and beliefs of the past have created this moment, and all the moments up to this moment. What you are now choosing to believe and think and say will create the next moment and the next day and the next month and the next year."

Carl Jung added "It all depends on how we look at things, and not on how they are themselves."

Finally, in my humble opinion, I believe that the extreme superstitious beliefs of Africans is the primary cause of their misfortune; and we can transform our misfortunes into fortunes by simply transforming our minds.

We at IMIGRANT MUSIC INC.® USA wish you all the best, and we hope you'll begin to give things positive meanings so that positive things will begin to happen in your life.

Taking Risks

Taking Risks:

You have to take risk before you can succeed in life. The world is a brutal and difficult place where nobody is ready to help you because everybody is trying to help themselves.

If you don't take risks, you will remain where you are and eventually die as a failure. So I want to challenge you today to start taking risks and start doing the things you're afraid to do, but which you know will make your dreams come true. For example, if you have a car, but you need money to pursue your dream, then sell that car immediately and use the money to invest in your dream and in your life. After selling your car, if the dream hasn't come true yet, then sell your house. After that, if your dream still hasn't come true, then sell everything you have left, borrow money, and do everything you can until that dream finally comes true. I know you can't believe I'm saying this right now, but you gotta do what you gotta do to make your dreams come true if you really believe in it; because when your dream finally come true, everything you lost will be nothing compared to the things you'll achieve and who you'll become. But if you refuse to invest what you have right now and refuse to sacrifice and take calculated risks, then you'll remain behind.

That dream is your life, and it's what will truly make you happy and fulfilled in life. So do not be afraid to take risk to make that dream come true, and do not worry of how you'll survive because you'll surely survive. I haven't seen anyone who died of hunger, and I haven't seen anyone who died of homelessness. People take huge risks everyday and eventually succeed. I took my own risk by leaving everything behind and coming to America to pursue my dream; and I was homeless in Los Angeles during the cold winter of December, but I didn't die. I was hungry for days without food but I still survived. But today my dreams have come true and I'm now living the good life because of my accomplishments so far. So I want to challenge you to do the same to make that dream in your heart come true. If you remain where you are, your dream will die and be buried with you. Someone once said "The richest place in the world is the graveyard where millions of people are buried with their dreams unfulfilled and their potentials untapped". So my friend, do not die with your dream unfulfilled.

Cut off anything or anyone that is stopping you from pursuing your dreams. If your friends are stopping you, then cut them off. If your job is stopping you from pursuing your dream, then quit. Don't be stuck with that job just because you're afraid of how you'll survive without it; because if you do, then you'll end up a failure and you'll eventually die unhappily and miserably on that job.

I'm sorry for being so blunt and hard on you my friend, but all I want is for your dream to come true so that you'll be happy in this life; and one day after you become successful, you'll look back and say "Thank You Cyril." I have faith in you, and I believe that you'll make it because being a member of IMIGRANT MUSIC INC.® USA shows that you're serious of making your dreams come true, and as long as you have a dream and you're willing to fight for it, then someday somehow it will come true.

Remember that when you're a failure in life, your children will be ashamed of you, and they won't be proud to tell their peers that you're their father or mother. Your friends won't respect you either; and the world won't regard you as anybody. So get up today and take risks that will turn your life around for good. Life is hard, but you have to be harder. 50cent said "Get rich or die trying." Barack Obama said "Our destiny is not written for us, but by us." In other words, only you can determine your own destiny.

Nothing worthwhile will be given to you in life, you have to earn it. That rich man you see driving a Rolls Royce or living in a big house took so many risks and paid his price in one way or the other; and even those that their parents paid the price for still have to struggle to keep their inheritance. So if no one paid the price for you, then you must pay your own price and pay for your children and grandchildren too. The good book says in Proverbs 13:22 "A wise man leaves inheritance for his children's children." The same bible also says in 1st Timothy 5:8 That "A man who can not provide for his family is worse than an infidel." So please don't be a disappointment to yourself, and a disgrace to your family. Be A Blessing.

Be the one to break the chains of poverty in your family. Be the one to make history. Do not die in poverty. Fight for what you deserve. Fight for your dreams because If you don't fight for your dream, it will never come true. Get up right now and go out there to take risks and change your life forever. Remember you still have time, but that time is running out everyday and won't stop until it finally runs out. So go right now and make your dreams come true; Go Go Go!!!

Before you go, consider this quote by Judith McNaught "You can't outwit fate by standing on the sidelines placing little side-bets about the outcome of your life. Either you wade in and risk everything you have to play the game or you don't play at all. And if you don't play you can't win." Period!!! I rest my case.

We at IMIGRANT MUSIC INC.® USA wish you all the best, and we hope you'll no longer be afraid to do what you gotta do to make your dreams come true and fulfill your destiny.

Change This Habit And Change Your Life

Change This Habit, and Change Your Life:

We receive thousands of emails every week from people all over the world, and most of their writings are embarrassingly horrible. For example, I received the below email from a member a few days ago which is part of the reason why I decided to write this article. He wrote "Ma name is James n I wt u 2 hlp mi n ma family bc were pr" The first help I think James needs is to start spelling words correctly and appropriately. Instead of James to simply write "My name is James and I want you to help me and my family because we're poor." He chose to write with the wrong spellings, not because he can't spell the words correctly, but because he's now accustomed to writing in such appalling, abhorrent and abnormal manner; and so many of us are guilty of this repugnant abnormality. If you look at what James wrote, you'll discover that the wrong spelling and the right spelling of most of the words he used has the same number of letters, and that's why it baffles me why people wouldn't just spell the words the right way; and the more I ponder on it the more I get baffled.

So many intelligent and smart people presents themselves as illiterates and fools just by the way they write. Most of us get so used to writing poorly and inappropriately that we forget the difference when we're writing a job application or any other professional document. We write so abhorrently and then wonder why we didn't get the job we applied for, or why we didn't achieve our goals.

During Christmas, My personal assistant gave me a very expensive gift. It was a pleasant surprise, and so I asked him why he spent so much money buying such expensive gift for me. Then he said to me "Cyril you've forever changed my life in so many ways, even though you don't know it. This is my own way of saying thank you for everything you've done for me." Then I jokingly said to him "Sean, I hope this isn't a deceptive kind gesture to make me increase your salary?" He smiled and said "Not at all. Before I started working for IMIGRANT MUSIC INC.® USA I was rejected by all the other companies I submitted my job application to, and I didn't even know why they all refused to hire me. But the day I submitted my job application to IMIGRANT MUSIC INC.® USA and you interviewed me, you gave me an advise that I will never forget, and which has forever changed my life and makes me feel so good". "What advise did I give you? I queried?" He then said "I use to write poorly and incorrectly when writing anything and therefore my writings always looked like that of an illiterate, and I didn't even realize it. But I remember during the interview, you chastised me for writing in such a horrible and deplorable manner, but you still hired me anyway, and advised me to start spelling words correctly and start writing appropriately. Ever since, I made a promise to myself that everything I write must have correct spellings, good diction, perfect structuring, and correct grammar." Finally he said "Looking back now, I suspect that the primary reason why all those companies didn't hire me might be because of the way I wrote poorly and incorrectly on my CV and job applications."

Honestly, Sean is a very smart and intelligent college graduate, and that was why I hired him even though I was horrified at his poor writing habit. So the advise I gave to him a long time ago is the same advise I'm giving to you today if you're just like Sean. Don't get me wrong, we're all humans and sometimes we make typographical and spelling mistakes when writing; but intentionally writing incorrectly and erroneously is just plain stupid.

Remember that the way you present yourself is how people will see you, and how they'll treat you. So present yourself as a smart and intelligent person that you are.

Let me conclude this article with this short story:

A long time ago in Nigeria when I went to the U.S embassy to submit my visa application, I met a young beautiful girl who also came to submit her visa application. We started talking, and when I looked at her documents, it was filled will a lot of embarrassing spelling errors. For example, she wrote "I am a nyc woman" instead of "I am a nice woman" I told her that the U.S consular officer will not even believe that she's a college graduate when he or she sees all these spelling and grammatical errors on her documents, and thus her visa might be denied and she won't even know the reason why. In fact I told her that the U.S consular officer might even think she's saying she's a nyc - new york city - woman, and won't know that she actually meant "She's a nice woman." So I advised her to fill out a new form and write the words correctly. She heeded my advise, and corrected all the mistakes.

We're living in an extremely fast moving world today and we don't even have time to spell words correctly anymore or take the time to do things well. But I'm still a firm believer that anything worth doing at all is worth doing well. Our generation want fast food, fast cars, fast everything; and instead of writing a four-letter word correctly and appropriately, we will write three incorrect letter words, even though we know how to spell the words the right way, and even though it'll take just a mini second to do so.

Let's all stop being in a hurry for goodness sake. During the new year in New York City, I was standing on Broadway and looking at people walking so fast up and down the street; and then I started wondering to myself; where are all these people rushing to? This is the first day of a new year; a time to rest, relax and reminisce on the past year, while also thinking and planning for the new year. Why can't people just slow down for a minute and enjoy life? Life is not running away, in fact the faster you go, the faster you'll get to the end of your road, and I believe non of us wants to get to the end of our road yet. So slow down my friends, and everything you want and dream of will come to you in due time. Remember what they say "Anything done in a hurry is never done well" including the way you live your life, and the way you write because how you write says a lot about you. I rest my case.

We at IMIGRANT MUSIC INC.® USA wish you all the best, and we hope you'll change your bad writing habit in this new year and always.
